Dental Regrowth

On a personal note; screw it, I wanna live to 305 at which time I will either be hurtling towards the dual Sun as I strangle Draco the lizard king, thus saving humankind, or I will be hit by a comet while playing my electric guitar on an asteroid. (So yea, my death will be space themed).
Now onto the blog! Oh, how I love technology! If only we could have thrown off the anti-intellectual shackles of the control freak religions sooner! But here goes;

New technologies which will allow us to regrow or heal our teeth and gums.

LASERS!

Dentists regrow teeth with lasers! Pew pew for your zoobies! I need to go do this now! 

From the article 'Since the 1960s, doctors have noticed that medical lasers could occasionally stimulate the growth of skin, hair, and other cells. But this is the first time, the researchers write, that the process has been analyzed and understood on a molecular level.'

Thanks 1960s doctors, good job, but this was already known with the violet ray. But don't listen to that old stuff, it's just quackery! Corporations can only deem technology useful! 

STEM CELLS!

I love this article. 

'So far, teeth have been regenerated in mice and monkeys, and clinical trials with humans are underway, but whether the technology can generate teeth that are nourished by the blood and have full sensations remains to be seen. Teeth present a unique challenge for researchers because the stem cells must be stimulated to grow the right balance of hard tissue, dentin and enamel, while producing the correct size and shape.

As Dr. Murray explains it, humans already have two sets of teeth, baby and adult sets, over the course of their lifetimes, so “All we are trying to do is copy nature and give the person the third option to re-grow their teeth.” Not only could this be important for replacing lost teeth, but it could become a standard treatment when extreme orthodontics is necessitated. And if the tooth is malformed or fails, it can be extracted and a new one put into place.'

It's sort of like Minecraft for your face. Imagine, teeth regrowth like a shark. Also, a veritable goldmine for orthodontists! 

NATURAL REGROWTH(?) 

I am researching this and will update , but there are many beliefs about the natural regrowth of teeth they include the following; 

1. Genetics - Some people continually regrow teeth, like animals. I am not saying these people are animals. I am saying they regrow teeth like them. 

2. Certain Foods and Vitamins - By giving the body the correct diet and nutrients, some people believe you can regrow teeth. See also here...

3. Purification - Another belief is that you can purify your body to the point of resetting physiology. This is said to be the way some Buddhist monks can regrow teeth.

GUM RESTORATION

One of the issues I am very interested in is the regrowth of gums and the reversal of recession. Here is a new method for the reversal of gum recession.
